Reservations and Large Parties

  1. Do you accept reservations?

    Sorry! We unfortunately do not take reservations for dining during peak times such as evenings, weekends or holidays. When it is not a busy holiday or special event season, many restaurants gladly accept a few large party reservations for off-peak dining. Large parties can reserve for an early lunch immediately after we open (11 or 11:30AM) or for dining during quieter times such as weekday afternoons (3 - 5PM) or after 9PM. Guests joining us for dinner or on the weekends, are seated in order of arrival based on party size. You're always welcome to call your local restaurant and speak to a manager. He or she will be happy to guide you to the best times to dine at your local restaurant!

  2. When is a good time to visit if I don’t have a lot of time to wait?

    Arrive early or dine late! Most restaurants are busiest at peak meal times; from noon - 2PM and 6 - 8PM on weekdays.  Weekends can be busy all day until about 9PM.  If you come on a weekday before 6:00PM, you can usually get right in without any wait at all! Our entire menu is always available at our self-seating “high top” tables located in our bar areas.  Also, almost everything on our menu can be ordered for takeout by phone or at our bakery counters.  Most locations offer our wonderful catering menu and many also offer Curbside To-Go service.

  3. Can you accommodate large parties? 

    While each location is unique, most of our restaurants have open floor plans which can accommodate a few large parties. Many locations accept reservations for large parties (seven or more) for dining at quieter times such as for early lunch immediately after we open (11 or 11:30AM) or for weekday afternoons (3 - 5PM). We do not take reservations, even for large parties, for dining during busy times such as evenings, weekends, holidays or special event seasons such as prom or graduation. However, there are still many other off-peak times when we would be happy to reserve for your large party, so please call your local restaurant and speak to a manager. He or she will be happy to answer any questions for you!

  4. Can I book a Private Function?

    A few locations offer private dining rooms or banquet facilities to accommodate 25 to 200 guests. See our Banquet Information page.

Visiting Our Restaurants

  1. Do you have takeout?  Delivery?

    Almost everything, including our cheesecakes and other desserts, is available for takeout!  You may place your order in advance by calling the restaurant directly or by ordering at the bakery counter when you arrive.  In addition, many of our restaurants offer Curbside To-Go Service, where we deliver your food to your car!  Check to see if your local restaurant offers this service on our Locations page or call for details. Some restaurants have DoorDash delivery available.   2. Do you cater?

    Yes! Most of our restaurants offer our amazing catering menu.  Choose from specialties, salads, pizzas and pastas, perfect for your home or office. Or choose from our Party Packages that serve 8-10 guests.  All catering orders are served with our sourdough and whole wheat baguettes.  Your meal is perfectly packaged and easy to serve with everything you need.  Catering beverages are also available.  Check to see if your local restaurant offers Catering on our Locations page or call for details.

  3. What is CakePay™?

    CakePay™ is a payment app that allows you to pay at a participating The Cheesecake Factory® restaurant via Smartphone. With CakePay™, you can split and pay your bill and add a tip directly from your Smartphone. That means no more waiting for the check. Whether it’s dine-in, to-go or curbside at a participating The Cheesecake Factory® restaurant... CakePay™ gets you on your way quicker. CakePay™ also allows you to search our extensive menu and see many photos of our food to assist you in your dining experience.

  4. Do you do anything special for guests celebrating a birthday or other special occasion?

    The Cheesecake Factory is the perfect place to celebrate!  If you order dessert, we’ll personalize the plate with "Happy Birthday" (or Anniversary, Good Luck, etc.) and your special guest’s name written in chocolate or caramel.  We decorate the plate with candy confetti and place a candle on top.  Or, if you didn’t save room for dessert, we offer a complimentary birthday sundae with a tiny “scoopette” of vanilla ice cream, fudge, and top it with a crown of whipped cream, confetti pieces and a candle.

  5. What is the dress code?

    We are an upscale, casual dining restaurant.  Be comfortable and feel free to come as you are! Just come hungry!

  6. Is it OK to bring babies and children?

    Absolutely!  If you need a kids’ menu, high chair or booster seat, please ask your host or  server.  We also have changing tables for infants in both men’s and women’s restrooms (or in our family restrooms).

  7. Can you accommodate strollers?

    Of course!  Our restaurants are happy to accommodate our smaller guests and their “wheels.”

  8. Can you accommodate wheelchairs?

    Absolutely! Just tell us when you check in. All our restaurants are accessible.

  9. Are service animals allowed?

    Yes, of course!  We welcome service animals in all our restaurants.  Sorry, no other pets allowed.

  10. Do you have Wi-Fi?

    At this time our restaurants do not offer Wi-Fi.

Menu

  1. What’s on your menu?

    If you want it, we have it!  Choose from more than 200 menu items including appetizers, pizzas, salads, pastas, specialties, fish and seafood, steaks and chops, burgers, sandwiches and our legendary cheesecakes and desserts.  The entire menu is available all day, too.  Our portions are large, but we don’t charge for sharing, or eat lighter with something from our appetizer, small plates and snacks or SkinnyLicious® Menu.  Whether you’re hosting a business lunch or celebrating with the whole family, we have something for everyone.

  2. How much does it usually cost for lunch or for dinner?  Drinks?

    Our entire menu is available all day. Lunch selections start at $8.95.  Lunch-Sized Portions of our salads, pastas and some specialties are also available until 5PM.  Dinner selections start at $12.95.  Small Plates & Snacks as well as Appetizers start at $4.50 and are fun to share.  Desserts, including our legendary cheesecake, start at $6.95, but may vary by location.  Prices for alcoholic beverages may vary by location, but wines by the glass start at $7.95.

  3. Can I buy a whole cheesecake at one of your restaurants?

    Absolutely! All our cheesecakes and specialty cakes are available for purchase at our Bakery Counter. All cheesecakes and specialty cakes come in 10-inch sizes, serving 12 – 15 people, and most are sold pre-sliced into 12 slices. Our most popular cheesecakes are also available in 7-inch sizes, serving 6 – 8 people.  Select cheesecakes come in our 6-inch size, serving 4 – 6 people. Prices start at $45.95 for 10-inch cakes; $26.95 for 7-inch cakes; and $18.95 for 6-inch cakes. If purchased deeply chilled, they travel well and can be stored in your freezer to enjoy later. Defrost in your refrigerator overnight to enjoy at home.

    We welcome preorders if you would like to reserve a specific cake or size for your home, office, special occasion or holiday celebration. For those who cannot decide on just one cheesecake flavor, we have the perfect solution: Order two different half 10" cakes! Half Cheesecakes and Layer Cakes are priced at $25.00 to $30.00.

  4. Do you ship cakes or can I purchase one online?

    We do not ship our cakes but you can purchase some of our most popular cheesecakes online here through Harry and David. Or, find some of our delicious cheesecakes - made slightly smaller - at select warehouse and grocery stores nationwide.

  5. Is there a kids’ menu?

    We are pleased to offer a wonderful menu for children 10 and younger. Please ask your host or server for a Kids’ Menu. For our youngest guests (those in a booster or highchair) we offer a complimentary “Baby Plate” with slices of banana and fresh bread to keep them busy and happy.

  6. Where can I find nutritional information?

    We take pride in serving only the freshest and finest ingredients available. Everything on the menu is made from scratch in-house every day so that we can maintain the highest food quality standards.  Where required by law, we provide complete nutritional information in our restaurants.  At this time, we do not provide this information on our website.

  7. Do you have special menus for guests with food sensitivities?

    We offer a variety of substitution options and always do our best to accommodate special requests to prepare your meal just the way you like it. In addition, almost all our restaurants offer a gluten free menu. When ordering, please inform your server of your needs and we will try to accommodate.

  8. Do you have any low-calorie items?

    Our SkinnyLicious® menu is always available and features more than 50 dishes that have fewer than 590 calories each.  Choose from appetizers, flatbreads, salads, specialties and cocktails, many 390 calories and under.

  9. Do you have menus in other languages or formats?

    A few restaurants offer menus in Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Please ask your server for details.

  10. How often do you change your menu?

    We update our menu twice a year to keep our menu fresh and exciting for all our guests. Please click here to see our newest items.

  11. How do I advertise in your menu?

    Menu advertising is handled by Menu Dynamics, an independent contractor. For advertising information, please call Menu Dynamics at 800-636-8238.

Gift Cards

  1. Do you sell gift cards?

    In the US, we offer traditional plastic gift cards for sale on our website.You may also purchase traditional plastic gift cards from any of our restaurants and from many well-known grocery stores, drug stores and other retailers, as well as some mall kiosks. We also offer electronic gift cards (“eGift Cards”), which you may purchase on our website. We will deliver eGift Cards to you or your designated recipient by email. “Gift Cards” refers to The Cheesecake Factory branded traditional plastic gift cards and/or eGift Cards. US gift cards can only be redeemed in the US and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. They are not redeemable in our Canadian restaurant.

    In Canada, we only offer traditional plastic gifts cards at this time, which may be purchased from our Canadian restaurant . You can only redeem Canadian gift cards in our Canadian restaurants. They are not redeemable in the US or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Canadian electronic gift cards will not be available until the end of 2018.

  2. How do I check the balance on my gift card?

    You can check the balance of your US Gift Card on our website. If you are having difficulty checking your balance or if your card does not have a PIN, please call our Gift Card hotline at 888-891-2429, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    You can check the balance of your Canadian gift card by calling our Gift Card hotline at 1-888-891-2429, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  3. Why do I need to scratch off the panel on the back of my traditional plastic Gift Card?

    By scratching off the coating on the panel, you will reveal a PIN (personal identification number). This PIN number is an added security function and is necessary to check the balance of your Gift Card on our website.

  4. What if my Gift Card is lost or stolen?

    We are unable to replace or provide refunds for Gift Cards that have been lost or stolen.

  5. What are your terms and conditions relating to Gift Cards?

    The following terms and conditions, which are printed on all US Gift Cards, govern your use of US Gift Cards:
    The Cheesecake Factory® Gift Card (“Card”) can be used at any of The Cheesecake Factory® restaurants in the United States of America, including the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

    • Please safeguard this Card as it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen
    • The Card does not expire or accrue fees

    Gift Card balances cannot be transferred onto or used to purchase other Gift Cards.

  7. May I use Gift Cards at Grand Lux Cafe or to purchase The Cheesecake Factory products from other retailers?

    Only The Cheesecake Factory gift cards may be used at The Cheesecake Factory restaurants.

  8. May I use The Cheesecake Factory Gift Cards or eGift Cards for purchases at retailers selling your products?

    The Cheesecake Factory Gift Cards may only be used at The Cheesecake Factory restaurants in the United States of America, including the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or Canada (as applicable).

  9. What is a “Slice of Joy” card?

    Slice of Joy cards are not Gift Cards. A Slice of Joy card is a limited-time promotional offer redeemable for a complimentary slice of cheesecake or layer cake. Slice of Joy cards are usually given as a promotional gift during the winter holidays to guests who make a qualifying Gift Card purchase. We may not offer the Slice of Joy promotion every year and the terms of our promotion may vary from year to year, so please be sure to check our website for details of each year’s promotion. In order to redeem your Slice of Joy card you must adhere to all terms and conditions printed on the Slice of Joy card. This promotion applies to our US and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico only. This promotion does not apply to our Canadian location. A Slice of Joy card received in the US may not be redeemed in Canada.

  10. I received a "With Our Compliments" card. What is the difference between this card and a Gift Card?

    With Our Compliments cards are not Gift Cards. With Our Compliments cards may be given for various reasons, free of charge. With Our Compliments cards cannot be resold, cannot be used to pay for gratuities or alcohol, and are not redeemable for cash. Other conditions may also apply. Please refer to the terms and conditions printed on your With Our Compliments card.

  11. What happens if I don't have sufficient balance on my Gift Card to pay for my purchase?

    The balance remaining on your Gift Card will be applied toward your purchase. Any remaining amount due can be paid by cash or credit card.

  12. My Gift Card was not properly activated, what do I do?

    If you purchased your Gift Card from one of our restaurants, contact us here. or if you purchased your Gift Card from our website, contact us here, and we will be able to assist you. If you purchased your Gift Card from a third party retailer (e.g. grocery store, drug store or big box store), please return to (or contact) such third party retailer and provide them with your Gift Card information and proof of purchase for assistance.

    The Cheesecake Factory is doing its part to help fight hunger.  We collect and donate surplus food from our restaurants to feed hungry people through The Harvest Food Donation Program.

  7. Do you make charitable donations?

    We established The Oscar & Evelyn Charitable Foundation to unite our caring and conscientious staff members in charitable causes. Our Foundation donates to non-profit hunger organizations and other charities to support communities throughout America.
