Secret Ingredients

The Cheesecake Factory Oscar & Evelyn Overton Charitable Foundation sponsors staff member teams for fundraising or community service projects benefiting the charities of their choice through a program called The Cheesecake Factory ‘Secret Ingredients.’  The purpose of this program is to inspire staff, and their friends and families, to get involved with the non-profit organizations they care about and their local communities.

Most often teams are organized for fundraising events like Walk-a-Thons, which include beneficiaries like the American Cancer Society, the National MS Society, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  ‘Secret Ingredients’ teams also participate in community projects like tree planting or serving a meal at a local shelter. Every team member receives a team t-shirt, and the Foundation makes a financial donation to the non-profit beneficiary based on the number of staff members on the team.  The more ‘Secret Ingredients’ staff members, the larger the donation!
